Tired of shallow Christianity? Do you long to know God better and to make him known? Attend the a DIMEP near you. Get Equipped to Transform Your World.

The Programme

DIMEP is designed as a series of informal teaching seminars and workshops on various basic Christian themes. It is practical but soundly biblical in content. it is also designed to be non-academic and non-theological but anti-theology or averse to serious inquiry. Our main aim is not just to lecture but to provide open interactive sessions that will stimulate discovery and growth.

The course is for 3 hours each week (Friday evenings 6-9pm) over a period of 12 weeks (i.e. 36 hours). It will incorporate teaching seminars, workshops, and practical involvement in evangelism and missions. A visit to a mission field is also included in the package for interested participants.

DIMEP aims at deepening of your intimacy with the Lord; increasing your capacity for ministry; and enlarging your vision and participation in world evangelization.

A certificate of attendance shall be presented to participants who meet the minimum requirement for completion of the course.

DIMEP focuses on 5 main areas of the Christian walk;

  • LOVING God

The program content will include teachings, workshops and seminars on such topic as:

  • The New Creation
  • Personal growth and edification
  • Christian life and character
  • Discipleship and Disciple making
  • Prayer and spiritual warfare
  • Hearing God
  • Personal Evangelism
  • Vision and Goal setting
  • The disciple and family life
  • The call to ministry
  • Missions and the Great Commission etc.

Cost of Programme

The program currently attracts a registration fee of R500 (Five Hundred Rands) which is subject to change at short notice. The fee covers the cost of some of the cost materials. Participants are free to make contributions to the budget of the DIMEP programme. The most crucial resource required however is time.

Resource Persons

Resource persons or facilitators for this training are drawn from the cream of the leadership of CAPRO MISSIONS as well as other tested Christian leaders with proven ministries and exemplary lives. This is because discipleship is not so much a programmed course as it is an open apprenticeship. We will depend on the Lord to bring us people whose lives reflect the subject they will teach.

Recommended Readings

Each subject to be covered will have some set of recommended literature which every participant is expected to read. It is required that every participant reads at least one title from each of the selections. This is a compulsory part of the programme. Most of the recommended books are available in our library.

Opportunities for Service

There will be opportunities for personal evangelism, weekend outreaches and Short-term trips to mission fields. These are optional extras.
